Well the Hallslug has another new job.

I’m working at the Motor City Casino in Detroit. Back on the day shift and so far so good.

Commercial work is a nice change of pace compared to industrial work. There are a different group of people on commercial jobs.

Commercial work isn’t as challenging but sometimes that’s a good thing.

Gives me more time to work on my endeavors in Cyberspace.

I’ve been reading the book, “Conversations with God” and I must say it is a must read for anyone interested in spirituality.

I was raised a catholic but it just never clicked for me. I am spiritual not religious.

I believe that all people should be able to pray or worship as they please. I don’t think there is a “wrong way” like some religions try to tell us. I’m also pretty sure that God doesn’t want people going around killing each other in his name.

It’s ironic how the “Holy Land” is also the most violent. Why can’t we all just get along? Fear and greed are the big enemies.

The book talks about how we are all made up of three parts: body, mind, and soul. Our soul lives on eternal and we are merely coupled with the body in this life.

It’s a great book and has really opened my eyes and brought me closer to God.
