Munising Trail Report 1/6

Trail 7/8 to Christmas MI
The temperature hit 40 today and we suffered some melting in town. The groomed trails around Munising are still in pretty good shape considering the traffic and weather. Trail 7 going into Christmas gets a little rough and dirty. The Coalwood and North Hiawatha are getting a little bumpy but are holding up pretty well so far.
The forest road riding is still excellent and the temperatures are supposed to drop with more snow in the forecast. We will keep you updated on the latest Munising snowmobile trail conditions.
Five Mile Pt. and Grand Island
Not much ice yet on Lake Superior or Munising Bay for January.
